Bruce and his greater family has been part of the Coromandel peninsula for several generations.He began an apprenticeship directly after achieving 5th form school certificate. After completing his apprenticeship, he went onto purchase a broken-down business which he went on to sell 2 years later as a fully functioning profitable business. 25 years later and several similar business activities, including a mussel farm in the Coromandel region and an extremely successful import-export company in Nishinomiya City, Japan which involved export and import sales negotiations at the highest level, Bruce decided it was time to bring it back a few notches and the family settled in Whitianga.
