Otautau - Dairy unit with proven performance

Description

Located in the picturesque and reliable farming district of Otautau 15 km North-West of the township.
This well-equipped dairy farm features three homes and has a 40 aside dairy shed with an intergrated covered feed pad, a loafing barn, covered calving pad and an extensive range of calf implement shed with a workshop.
A modern Eco stream effluent system consented for 700 cows until May 2031. The effluent is spread via an underground hydrant to traveling irrigator and sprinklers.
Production over the last three seasons has ranged between 280,000 and 290,000 kgMS, from 670 cows milked at the peak. The consistent production and performance is a testament to the quality of the farm and management.
Note: Currently managed by a 50/50 sharemilker who has this season and two more left of their contract.
