Rawdon Christie

Rawdon Christie needs little introduction after his successful career in television, initially with the BBC and then with Television New Zealand.

Rawdon now utilizes the competitive drive and work ethic he displayed on TVNZ’s Breakfast show, to achieve the best possible results for his clients.

His public profile has also helped him acquire an impressive network of contacts. He knows how to utilize the media to reach them, having left television to run his own successful communications and media relations business.

Rawdon now applies the trust and credibility that his media career has earned him to real estate, a career he chose because it allows him to work locally - with the people in his own neighbourhood – while helping them make some of the biggest decisions they will ever make. Many of his clients are also the people who first welcomed him when he arrived from the UK 28 years ago as a young graduate to teach at Kings School, in the heart of Remuera.

Rawdon’s friends, colleagues and clients will tell you that it is his exceptional people skills that set him apart and, whether teaching children, interviewing politicians or guiding a client to find a winning strategy for the sale of their home, it is his relationship-building and listening skills that are key to achieving the best outcomes for all parties.

It’s by taking a genuine interest and care in every client that Rawdon helps them get the very best result when selling their most valuable asset.

He specializes in Remuera because this has been his home for nearly 30 years. He has been a central figure in the community, involved in all five of the local schools his children have attended. His wife, Jo, grew up in Remuera and they have together bought and sold several properties in the neighbourhood.

Rawdon understands Remuera and what makes it such a special place to live. This, together with his media acumen and ability to make genuine connections with buyers, makes him a winning combination to represent you and your property.
