Alex Baker

With 27 years as a top-performing sales professional, I’m a well-recognised name in real estate. Based in Remuera for all of that time I have built an enviable reputation for delivering outstanding results amongst a wide network of clients. In June 2014 I made the exciting move to Auckland’s largest real estate company and joined the dynamic team at Barfoot & Thompson, Remuera.

Known as much for my fun and energy as my astute marketing skills and dedicated professionalism, my success in real estate is underscored by exceptional people skills and a passion for business. A background in hospitality and a legal career with Simpson Grierson – specialising in building and construction law, proved a fantastic grounding for a vocation in the property industry. In today’s market a high level of expertise and energy is essential to guide you through the sales journey. I offer you this and more, with unmatched market knowledge, experience and calmness under pressure.

While I am a keen auction advocate, I recognise that every client is unique. I go out of my way to listen, which allows me to determine a winning marketing strategy for each property.

Achieving the best results for my clients is what drives me. Talk to them and they’ll say the things that set me apart are my absolute integrity, excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail. I believe I am a master of simplicity, authenticity, and resilience. I will tell you how it is and do my utmost to pull the many threads together to achieve win/win outcomes for both buyers and sellers. No matter the issue I will take the lead, find a solution, and put your mind at ease.

Raewyn Anderson, my Personal Assistant, has worked alongside me for over 25 years. While I am the face of my business Raewyn is the highly organised cog that assuredly turns the wheels to make sure things happens behind the scenes. Clients can rely on our synergy to ensure nothing is overlooked and it is this strong commitment to service which gives me an edge.

But it’s not all work for me. I enjoy exercising, walking, pilates, skiing, playing bridge, and entertaining as well as travel. I am a Chair Sponsor of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) and help with APO membership programmes and events. Due to my long association with Waiheke Island, I am also a bronze patron of Sculpture on the Gulf. I am also on the Board of the Auckland Bridge Club.

In any market, people want to be reassured they’ve done everything possible to maximise the value of their property. By selecting me for your real estate needs, you’ll know you’ve made a wise choice.

If you are seeking results in real estate, then engage a proven professional and put your trust in me!
