Working from the Barfoot & Thompson Kerikeri office is a perfect fit for me having lived in the area for over 33 years. I'm passionate about the Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands lifestyle, have brought up three children, who in turn have returned home to Kerikeri to bring up five grandchildren, so far. The relaxed culture of Barfoot & Thompson appealed to me and I think they offer a lot to clients in such areas as marketing and lower commission. I work very hard on each listing, in fact I don't take on too many listings at a time as I like to give 100% to my sellers. I have a high list/sell rate of which I am very proud. It is important to me that I achieve the best results for the seller and I always aim for a happy buyer and happy seller.
I like all the different aspects of the job and endeavour to make the process, whether buying or selling, as smooth and happy as possible. My previous careers in the hospitality industry as a cook and retail and office work, have brought me in contact with a diverse range of people and I learned to think on my feet and have empathy and understanding with a wide demographic.
Although real estate keeps me busy I support the local community and businesses as much as possible and support events at the local school when I can.
