Justin Le Lievre

From a large farming family of 8 Justin was educated at St Thomas’s of Canterbury College in Christchurch. He was an excellent sportsman who played First IV rugby and won the high school senior Tennis Cup.

After starting a B.Ag.Com at Lincoln University he left to study and travel  in America where he worked in agriculture and attended the University Of Minnesota.

On completion of his studies at the University he travelled to the UK where he spent 9 months working in the dealing room for Landesbank Stuttgart a German foreign exchange bank in London.

After turning down an opportunity to play professional rugby for the Piacenza Club in Italy Justin returned home after 3 years abroad and joined the NZ Police. Of the many duties he performed whilst policing he recalls one of the most interesting was being a bodyguard for the then Prime Minister Jim Bolgers family.

After 7 ½ years in the NZ Police he left and became a professional broadcaster for TAB Trackside (NZ’s Racing Channel) for 13 years where his face was a regular on TV screens throughout Australasia. Post presenting on Trackside he ran his own company Le Lievre Bloodstock Ltd for a decade where he sold horses throughout Australasia.

An inkling to move into Real Estate was solidified when he joined in what he describes as the “Best Company” he has ever worked for Property Brokers in April 2021.

In a short time Justin has become an award winning agent selling over $15 million dollars of Real Estate in his first year. He was nominated in his first year as a “Rising Star In Residential” for the REINZ Awards which is all companies throughout NZ.

He was awarded the prestigious NZ Rookie Of The Year for Property Brokers in 2022. The FIRST time a South Islander has ever won the Award.
